One of the most effective ways to draw attention to your project is through your sales pitch and product demo. We understand the dynamics of delivery and how this can make or break your project.

The Akana Network will be hosting a structured Demo Day format that will eventually lead into potential investment of your project.

The Objective

We aim to ensure every project receives the attention and traction it deserves. The network has multiple tools for each entrepreneur to benefit from.

The beauty of the Akana Network is that you are surrounded by fellow entrepreneurs to share your ideas, concerns and to ultimately put yourselves on the map as founders.

The Format

Akana Demo Days will be held over a 6 week period. Every project will have a chance to submit their project's profile.

We will be shortlisting 50 projects to begin the Demo Day within the Akana Tank!

From the 50 projects, Akana Tank panel will shortlist 12 to then present in front of:

• Akana Advisors

• VCs

• Accelerators

• Launchpads

• Marketing guru's

The Process

Each project will submit their application profile via google form.

• An announcement will go out with form attached

• Internally we will shortlist 50 projects to pitch

• Projects that have been shortlisted will be announced

• Shortlisted candidates will then book a 15 min slot via Calendly

• Once reviewed, we will select 12 projects to advance & present to a large panel of investors

• All top 12 will be open to gain VC traction with in the network

• The winner will have guaranteed investment from Akana Labs

None Shortlisted candidates

For all candidates that were not shortlisted, the Akana Network Team will be providing live feedback for you to go back and review your pitch for the next round.

Additionally, we will be providing 1 to 1 consultations to ensure you are receiving the right amount of support.

Amongst all the candidates who were not shortlisted, there will be other opportunities to collab / partner to ensure the growth of your project.

Shortlisted Candidates

You will no doubt be exposed to the VIPs within the Akana Network as it expands. Here you will have an opportunity to expose your project to multiple VCs, Market Makers, Accelerators etc
